Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this at a meeting with Oblast Councils heads on Tuesday.

"Those people, especially politcians, who say that Ukraine is on the worst position in the world economic crisis system, this is absolutely does not correspond to reality", Yulia Tymoshenko said.

The Prime Minister warned politicians not to use economic showings of Ukraine to push Ukraine to the roadside.

She noted that by the industrial growth rates, Ukraine occupies average places compared to other countries, in particular, Russia and Kazakhstan. Yulia Tymoshenko pointed out that the rates of industrial production fell in Ukraine by 16.1%, comapred to 19.9% in Russia and 10.4% in Kazakhstan.

According to the Prime Minister, to overcome consequences of the world economic crisis, the Ukrainian economics exigently needs coordinated actions of all power branches.

She proposed heads of Oblast Councils to elect their representative who could attend government sessions.

"A permanent representative will, in fact, work as a representative of your collegial body. He will have an opportunity to receive in advance all draft governmental decisions, and to propose amendments on your behalf", the Prime Minister said.
