Ukraine will develop cooperation with CES


The Ukrainian economy can benefit from the development of economic relations with the participant countries of a Common Economic Space


(CES, involving Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan), Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn has said.

"We should take into account obvious truths that Ukrainian products were and are in demand in the post-Soviet space. Ukraine is not allowed to enter foreign markets, but even if it is allowed, then this is offered reluctantly, with deliberately demands [for Ukraine] that are impossible to implement," the parliament`s press service quoted him as saying to reporters in Donetsk province on Wednesday.

Lytvyn said that "35% of Ukrainian exports go to Russia, which is approximately the same percentage of Ukrainian exports which go to all the European Union countries combined."
